Important items to bring for female traveler

Women always want to look chic and beautiful when travelling, be it on vacation or on business trip. All favorite clothes, shoes and bags are ready in the suitcase, easy to mix and match for any scheduled occasion and spontaneous events.

Other items such as mobile phone, my favorite camera is already packed in my handbag and not to miss bringing credit card, debit card and enough cash to spend during trip.

In this writing, I want to highlight the 8 important items to bring during travelling to make your trip becomes more comfortable and enjoyable.  Some of these items can actually be purchased at the intended destinations or can also be provided by hotels, but then, it is better to be prepared, than sorry, especially when you need the item quite urgent.

International adaptor.

This item is important particularly when you are travelling abroad.  You will need to check what type of international adaptor suitable in the intended destination.

Mobile phone charger.

Don’t forget to bring your compatible mobile phone charger and let’s ‘Stay Connected’, and to stay up to date in your Social Media platform and network.

Portable luggage scale.

When you travel by flight, there is weight limit for hand baggage and checked luggage allowances to bring.

Portable luggage scale is very useful so you can weigh your luggage in advance and manage the weight limit not to exceed. And if you have overweight luggage, you can then be prepared already and purchase the excess luggage weight online to speed up the check in process at the airport later.

Medicines and vitamins.

Store your medicines and vitamins in labelled small bottle or labelled medicines box enough to support you during your trip.

Make up kit.

Women and make up are two things that cannot be separated, well…at least, not for me. You can either bring the complete make up set or just some simple collections depending on your occasion.

Don’t forget to also carry eye lotion and face moisturizer to keep your skin stay moisten.

Hairdryer and hair straightener.

Some hotels will provide hairdryer as part of hotel facilities. You can just call your booked hotel to check on this facility.  While for hair straightener, you might need to bring your own item.

As for me, I will always carry the hair straightener with me to make my hair easier to manage and also to do some styling for special events.

Toiletries for face, body and hair.

Depending on the hotels star rating, some hotels will provide bathroom amenities.  The question is whether the available bathroom amenities will be suitable for your skin and hair.

It is always good to consider bringing your own toiletries collection for back up.  Just bring some necessary items in small bottles and you can always buy more at the destination, if needed.

Bag for dirty clothes.

Many places no longer provide plastic bags so how to store your dirty clothes in the luggage when packing.  You may consider having a “reusable bag” ready in your luggage for dirty clothes storage when traveling.

So, when packing, make sure to double check and triple check on your travelling preparation to ensure that all necessary items are not left behind. And also don’t forget to bring the ID cards such as KTP, passport, driving license.
