Beauty is pain - The story of high heels

Women and high heels are best friends, specially those who work in the industry where high heels are the must-wear shoes.  High heels come with different types which you can wear for various occasions and styles.

Beauty is pain…..it’s a familiar phrase, isn’t it?  What does this phrase relate to high heels? This is because of wearing high heels is not always comfortable.  Just imagine that you wear 9cm or 11cm heels of party shoes in a special event for few hours.  The first few hours, you will be fine and fun but afterwards, your feet start to get hurt and you will need to force yourself to sit down.

As for me, wearing high heels is a hobby and a passion, especially to be able to choose different shoes styles, be it for casual talks, semi-formal and formal event, and surely for business occasions.

But, do remember that your feet need to rest too, so wearing different types of high heel can also help to relax your feet.

In this writing, I will highlight different types of most-wear high heels so you can pick and choose to give you a chic and great style.

1. Stilettos

A tall and slim heel which it’s quite an effort when you are just a beginner to try walking with these heels.  These particular heels can start from 7cm and up. You will surely look good and sexy wearing stiletto heels especially for special occasion and party.  Stilettos heels are less suitable for business working shoes that sometimes require long working hours.

2. Pumps

This also has a slim heel but not as tall as stilettos, range approx. 4cm to 6cm height.  You can consider wearing these heels for work to look elegant and sexy and yet still comfortable.

3. Kitten

Kitten heels have range 3cm to less than 4cm height and come with short and slender shape.  Because of its shape, it is comfortable for activities that require you to look elegant but yet active.

4. Cone

Because of its name, then, cone heels will have the shape of ice cream cone.  A short and a bit thick heel but yet comfort to wear for daily activities.

5. Wedge

Wedges heels are considered one of the most comfortable heels. These heels are made in a single piece and therefore, provide good support and balance for your feet.  You can have different styles of shoes with wedges heels, such as, business working shoes, sandal style and even boots.  Because they are so comfort to wear, so the height can be varied depending on your choice.

6. Mary Jane

The famous Mary Jane shoes has a closed, low cut shoe and has one or more straps across the instep.  The heels tend to be thick and bulky and surely very comfortable.  Nowadays, still by adopting the Mary Jane shoes style, the heels are made with more height to give even more feminine look.  With straps across the instep, this will give more support to your feet and reduce tiredness.

7. Block

Block heels will have chunky shape but because it can come with various heels height, therefore it is easy to match with various shoes style to create  elegant and stylish look.  Try block shape heels with approx. 7cm heels height on your ankle strap or boot style which will give a  modish and confident look.

Wearing shoes must be comfortable.  Choose the right heels and good quality shoes to support your feet.  There is no point wearing sexy high heels shoes if it will hurt your leg in the long run.
